Did you know that the hot air balloon is the oldest successful human-carrying flight technology and is a subset of balloon aircraft?
I have never been in a hot air balloon but I would love to one day. There is something very magical about them. It reminds me of childhood and the view must be remarkable.
Just to look at this picture makes me feel weightless and free. It would be nice to be without a care in the world for couple of hours. But until then, spas would do fine, right? ;)

You should go to Albuquerque, NM in the fall. They have a huge hot air balloon show. and I would love to as well!

We went on one during our honeymoon. It was awesome! I dont like heights or roller coasters but it wasnt scary at all.
I would really like to go in a hot air balloon too!

I remember in elementary school there was some sort of competition and the winner got to ride in a hot air balloon. One winner. Out of 500 some kids. And what did the rest of us get? We got to watch that damn winner take off in the balloon while we sat on the ground. Doesn't seem very fair to me.

My brother proposed to his wife in a Hot Air Balloon!! He was scared of dropping the real ring so he left that on the ground and proposed with a 101 Dalmations ring instead - the movie they went to on their first date!! I never knew he was such a romantic haha!

Beautiful Balloon Pic....2 years ago I got to go on a balloon ride and I loved it! Words can't even describe how peaceful and beautiful it was up there. I wasn't even scared......you'll have to treat yourself to a balloon ride some day........ (Now I'm off to check out more of your posts...)
